Housed in a traditional 3-storey Tibetan farmhouse with the exquisite craftsmanship of wood carvings, the Birch is located in a picturesque village of Shangri-la,Yunnan. The non-smoking property is a 15-minute drive from Diqing Airport. Free transfer to and from the airport is provided.
The Birch is a 10-minute drive from Dukezong Old Town and Songzanlin Monastery, 15-minute drive from Yila Grassland and Napa Sea, and 20-minute drive from Shika Mountain. Bita Lake and Shudu Lake are a 25-minute drive away, while Tiger Leaping Gorge is a 1-hour, 20-minute car journey away.
Tastefully decorated, the charming guestrooms feature curtains in red-wine colour, cotton sheets in cream colour and clear windows overlooking the beautiful garden. Each well-appointed unit is fitted with a satellite TV, DVD player and heating system. En suite bathrooms have showers and free toiletries.
