Sitting on Liang Beach, the eco-friendly, luxury dive resort offers Minahasa-style bungalows with a hammock and views of the clear lagoon, which has rich coral reefs.
Wooden four-poster beds draped with a mosquito net are standard features in all the air-conditioned bungalows. The Balinese-style en suite bathrooms come with open-air warm water rainshowers and a hairdryer.
Full-board Indonesian meals, coffee and tea are provided at the open-air restaurant, which overlooks the entire beach and the tropical landscape.
Bunaken Island Resort is a 45-minute boat ride from Manado Harbour. From there, it is a 25-minute drive from Sam Ratulangi Airport. Transfers can be arranged at an extra charge.
