This organic winery is located in the Sierra Foothills in historic Amador County. They farm 125 acres without the use of herbicides, pesticides, or chemical fertilizers. In 2002 their vineyards were certified organic by CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers). Sobon conventionally processes their wines using a minimal amount of added sulfites. They offer Rhone and Zinfandel wines as well as dessert wines. The tasting room is open daily from 9:30pm to 5pm.
