Just outside the city limits sits this wildlife area of almost 12,000 acres of riparian forest bordered by 12 miles of river channels. The area is popular for fishing, birding, and hiking. Primitive camping is allowed; there are restrooms and drinking water available. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
