Located in the Modoc National Forest at 6,700 feet, this camp area gives everyone a view of the 640 acre tree-lined lake, and the fascinating surrounding landscape created from ancient volcanic activity. There is a variety of land and water recreational activities available and close access to other points of interest. Campsites are on a first-come, first-served basis and some of the amenities include tables and grills, vault toilets (wheelchair friendly), and water. This campground is closed during the off-season. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
