Known for a bit of a fun "activist" atmosphere, this feminist vegetarian restaurant features a seasonally and ethnically inspired menu with old favorites and ongoing new choices too - fresh from the local area or their own gardens. There are no waitresses, so place, pay, and pick up your order at the desk. They also offer Take-out, a bookstore, and a variety of events and special speakers. They are open Tuesday and Thursday from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm for lunch and from 6 to 9 pm for dinner; Wednesday from 6 to 9 pm; Friday and Saturday from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm and from 6 to 10 pm; Sunday for brunch from 11:30 am until 2:30 pm, and they are closed on Monday.
