Born of glacial activity with a long rich natural and cultural history, this beautiful park has some unique features for a northern park. The park also has several miles of hiking and equestrian trails-plus a separate interpretive trail, and some of the prettiest seasonal landscape of any of the state's parks. The campground has 40 sites, picnic tables, modern restrooms, showers, a playground, and a dump station. There are no water hookups at the campgrounds.
