From a scarred wasteland to a lush recreational environment is this park's success story; there are 22 deep water ponds, miles of trails, abundant bird, flora, and fauna, and in spring - it blazes with wildflowers. The campground provides showers, restrooms, tables, grills, drinking water, and dump stations; camping permits are required before entering the campgrounds. There are no water hookups at the campgrounds.
