Stretched along 250 miles of Lake Shelbyville shoreline with plenty of recreational opportunities, this park has large expanses of maintained indigenous woodlands, 3 nature trails plus a 12 mile backpacking trail, a 110 foot earthen embankment dam built as flood control and water supply, and a resort in the park. Campers are welcome to enjoy the pool at the resort for $5 per day, and there is also a restaurant on site. The campground offers restrooms, showers, water, picnic tables, and fire blocks. This campground is closed during the off-season. There are no water hookups at the campgrounds.
