This is the only inland water-based park in the National Park system and it's maze of waterways allows visitors to explore this beautiful park from a whole different avenue. There are more than 200 developed campsites dispersed through the park. All the campsites are accessible only by water. Although free, a camping permit is required and can be obtained at any of the visitor centers or self-registration stations. This campground is closed during the offseason. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
