This is a prairie lover's paradise with trails that meander thru one of the state's largest and best remnant prairies. There are plenty of birds and wildlife, a riverine forest path, and interpretive programs. There are 44 campsites and reservations are recommended in summer. There are seasonal flush toilets, showers, and dump station; vault toilets are available year around. There are no water hookups at the campgrounds.
