Historic, as it is the only park dedicated to a US president, and popular for the blending of its history to the present with a museum of President Jackson's life here, art/community activities, and a living history museum. There are also annual festivals, a fishing lake, picnic areas, a campground, and plenty of hiking trails at this 360 acre site. The campground can accommodate RVs up to 30 feet, and there are restrooms, hot showers, and a dump station on site.
