Born of glacial activity, this park has some unique geological features, and native artifacts have been found dating back as far as 300 BC. In addition to a number of recreational and educational opportunities, the park is host to many folk music concerts through the year. The campground offers shady, grassy sites, picnic tables, fire pits, restrooms, showers, potable water, a playground, and a dump station. There are no water hookups at the campgrounds.
