The beautiful Red Canyon Park has the same type of rock formations that make Bryce Canyon famous. The park sits at a 7,400 foot altitude in a Ponderosa Pine setting surrounded by striking red and pink Limestone formations that rival those of the National Park. There are a variety of extensive trail systems for multi-use, many scenic overlooks (one allows visitors to see 3 different states), and a visitor's center. Camp sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Some of the amenities include drinking water, modern restroom and showers, gaming courts, fire rings and grills, paved sidewalks, free cable TV, and a dump station. This campground is closed during the off-season.
