This bed and breakfast inn is located in the San Juan Islands. The owners of this inn also own the nearby Nettle's Farm which supplies the inn's restaurants with fresh organic produce and pastured chicken eggs. Their reefnet fishing, which uses sustainable fishing methods, brings in fresh salmon and other local seafood. Their beef and poultry come from the Skagit River Ranch, a certified organic farm which produces organic, grass-fed meat and poultry. The restaurant also use organic bread from Skagit County. Dining options at this inn include their main dining room and deck, the Taproot Espresso Bar & Pub and the nearby Beachstore Cafe which is also owned by the inn. To get to the inn, you will need to take a 6 minute ferry ride to Lummi Island. The ferry transports pedestrians, cars, and trailers. If you are not bringing a car, there is a free island shuttle, but it does not run on the weekends, and during the week it does not run during certain hours of the day. The inn is on the other side of the island, so you will want to bring your car to the island to get to the inn and to visit other places on the island.
