This 1,187 acre park offers scenic natural areas, significant archaeological sites, and plenty of land and marine recreation, but one of its main attractions is the 12 foot statue Winnebago Indian Chief Red Bird. Vehicle admission stickers (required) can be obtained at the park office or self registration stations. There are 8 group sites and 112 regular campsites; they offer picnic tables, fire rings, potable water, restrooms, and a playground. There are no water hookups at the campgrounds.
