There is an emphasis on outdoor recreation and entertainment at this 9,474 multi-colored, thriving forest (the state's tallest); they offer seasonal Story Tellers and a variety of live shows. Along a stream where flowers bloom in abundance, there are 13 campsites with picnic tables, fireplaces, drinking water, and pit toilets. Showers, a laundry, firewood and ice are available at the forest headquarters. This campground is closed during the off-season. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
