As the state's oldest forest with 11,684 acres, there is an abundance of land and water recreation available. The rustic camp area offers large, secluded sites on a first come, first served basis with picnic tables, fireplaces, drinking water, and vault toilets. Firewood, showers, and a laundry are available for a small fee. This campground is closed during the off-season. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
