Rising 1,267 feet above the river below and surrounded by woods and grasslands, the Devils Tower was the nation's first National monument. It is also considered a sacred site by more than 20 native tribes. Primitive camping is available on a first come, first served basis. This campground is closed during the offseason. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
