Visitors can experience a diversity of landscapes here. There are over 1,500 miles of trails, 32 campgrounds, hundreds of miles of streams, and an abundance of flora, fauna, recreation, and educational opportunities. The three ranger districts all have numerous developed and primitive camping areas available, and most have toilet and potable water access. This campground is closed during the offseason. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
