Once the site of a major conflict between the Arapahoe and American troops from Fort Laramie, this natural scenic area along the Tongue River now offers a memorial and a recreation site. The camp area has 20 first-come, first-served shady sites with picnic tables, grills, restrooms, a playground, and horseshoe pits. This campground is closed during the offseason. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
