Map
This 12 acre organic farm is based on one of the oldest organic farms in California. They are a model for small scale urban food production, agricultural land preservation, farm-based education and the integration of farms and communities that they serve. Open to the public is their produce stand featuring organic fruits and vegetables, as well as a self-guided tour of their farm. On the tour, you can view the crops and learn about organic and sustainable farming. Guided tours are available upon request. During the year, the farm holds many classes, workshops, events and kids programs that are open to the public. For more information, you can visit their web site or call them. This is a great opportunity to see a working organic farm. The produce stand is open seven days a week from 10am until 6pm and the self-guided tour is available from 10am until sunset, except during rain and for three days after rain. The farm is located about 5 minutes from Highway 101. From Highway 101 heading north, take the Fairview Ave. exit and turn right onto North Fairview Ave. Drive for about 1/2 mile towards the mountains and the farm will be on the right. From Highway 101 heading south, take the Fairview Ave. exit. Turn left and cross the freeway overpass. Turn left at the stop light onto North Fairview Ave. Drive for about 1/2 miles towards the mountains and the farm will be on the right. If you are visiting the produce stand, you can park in the lot in front of the stand. For longer visits, like if you are taking a tour, you can park behind the produce stand on Stow Canyon Road.
