This 613 acre park sits at an elevation of almost 2,500 feet on the Snake River, and it was one of the most famous river crossing areas on the historic pioneer trail. Some of the features/amenities here include an interpretive center, educational programs, historic artifacts, a self-guided tour, picnic areas, hiking trails, and a variety of other recreational pursuits. The campground offers about 100 sites, with showers, flush toilets, a group shelter, and a dump station. Reservations are available from April 1st to October 31st, and is on a first come, first served basis in the off-season.
