Every season brings a special beauty to this 2,064 acre park of thick woods, lush valleys, and abundant plant, bird, and wildlife, but it is especially popular for its trail system; it's easy-on, easy-off with dramatic scenery, 18 wooden bridges, plenty of rest areas, a fitness trail, and a stairway to "Eagle's Nest" of 144 steps to a deck overlooking the valley and river below. The campground provides showers, restrooms, tables, grills, drinking water, and dump stations; playgrounds and gaming fields/courts are nearby. There are no water hookups at the campgrounds.
