Located east of Manistee but combined for management purposes, they share 5 ranger districts and almost a million acres with a variety of camping areas, some 330 miles of trails, year round recreation, and diverse ecosystems that support a large variety of plants, fish, mammals, and bird species. The camp areas offer restrooms, fire rings, picnic tables, and potable water. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
