The state's largest park at 60,000 acres, it is also one of the last remaining large wilderness areas in the Midwest, and in addition to all the recreation available, there are several educational opportunities also. The camp areas range from rustic to modern with showers, restrooms, and dump stations. There are no water hookups at the campgrounds.
