Popular since its construction by the CCC in the 1930s for its recreational activities, lakes, and natural beauty, this almost 3100 acre park is now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and it is home to an extensive trail system that takes hikers through a variety of sites/habitations. There are 2 camping areas with more than 90 sites available; they provide restrooms, hot showers, a laundry, and a dump station.
