Much more than a just major recreation area, this 876 acre park is home to a sacred 50 acre 2,000+ years old Native American ceremonial mound. The museum offers a number of fun and entertaining educational programs that details its history. There are 51 first come, first served wooded campsites with picnic tables, grills, and a seasonal dump station. Modern restrooms and showers are on site.
