Located along the Rio Grande the park is known for the pre-historic Native American rock art that is more than 4,000 years old. This site is also home to the country's third largest collection of pre-historic artifacts. Campsites are first come first served, and there are about 70 sites with some or all of the following: potable water, covered picnic tables, and grills. There are no electric or water hookups at the campgrounds.
